Getting involved with the STO
There are a number of ways to submit your comments and help improve our public transit service.
To make your voice heard:
Take part in decisions
A community that feels strongly about public transit and wants to help improve services.
Take part in surveys or discussion groups about different public transit topics. Your answers inform our decisions and help us develop products and services that meet your needs.
Public consultations
These are opportunities for residents to comment on major projects and significant changes to our public transit system.
Find out more about previous consultations, and don’t miss out on upcoming opportunities to express your needs and opinions.
Attend meetings of the Board of Directors
Board of Directors meetings are a good place to understand the issues and decisions made by the STO.
At the start of every meeting, you can ask the members questions. The Board generally meets on the last Thursday of the month at 4 p.m.
Get involved
Did you know that customers are represented on our board of directors?
Two of the seven members on the STO’s Board of Directors are Gatineau residents, one of them a user of the regular system and the other of paratransit. Since 2017, these positions have been held by François-Michel Brière and Marie-Pier Bouladier.
When positions become vacant, you will be informed by our different information tools and will be invited to submit your application.
